The latest trailer for “Fukrey 3,” featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, and Manjot Singh, has been unveiled. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, this much-anticipated installment of the franchise is set to grace the big screens on September 28.
Prepare for another uproarious adventure as the beloved gang returns in the third installment of the popular “Fukrey” film series. “Fukrey 3” promises to deliver a fresh wave of laughter, and its recently released trailer offers a sneak peek into the comical escapades of its iconic characters. The ensemble cast includes Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, Pankaj Tripathi, and Manjot Singh in leading roles. Notably, Ali Fazal, who portrayed Zafar in the previous two films, will not be joining the Fukrey crew for this latest installment.
The trailer reveals a storyline where Varun’s character, Choocha, enters local elections against Richa’s Bholi Punjaban. Pulkit, Manjot, and Pankaj’s characters rally behind Choocha in his electoral campaign, unaware of the surprising “superpower” Choocha possesses. It appears that the trademark Fukrey-style comedy remains delightfully intact in this third chapter of the franchise.
Originally slated for a September 7 release, “Fukrey 3” was rescheduled to December 1 to avoid a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s highly-anticipated film, “Jawan.” However, the filmmakers have now officially confirmed September 28 as the release date. This movie is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment.
Farhan previously teased fans with quirky posters featuring the lead actors, exclaiming, “Get ready for the ultimate dose of jugaad with the Fukrey gang! #Fukrey3 trailer out tomorrow.”
Since its debut in 2013, the “Fukrey” franchise has enjoyed immense popularity with audiences. Now, fans can eagerly anticipate the reunion of beloved characters such as Choocha (Varun), Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Pandit Ji (Pankaj Tripathi), Bholi Punjaban (Richa Chadha), and Lali (Manjot Singh) in “Fukrey 3.” Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and penned by Vipul Vig, this film promises to deliver yet another dose of laughter and entertainment.
