The collaborative masterpiece of Thalapathy Vijay and the visionary director Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Leo,‘ persists in its ability to amass wealth across global theaters. On the 24th day of October, this cinematic marvel achieved an impressive financial milestone, amassing more than Rs 30 crore in net earnings in India, its momentum undeterred. This, though marginally less than the previous day, still presented commendable figures at the box office. However, ‘Leo’ embarks on its most significant challenge beginning today, October 25, as the Dussehra holidays draw to a close.
The cinematic creation of director Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Leo,‘ was unveiled in theaters on the 19th of October, enchanting audiences in multiple languages. It emerged as one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year 2023.
On the Tuesday of its inaugural week (October 24), ‘Leo‘ witnessed a minor dip in its box office collections. Nevertheless, preliminary trade assessments suggest that the film managed to amass an impressive net revenue of Rs 31.50 crore in India. Presently, the film inches closer to the colossal milestone of Rs 250 crores in India.
This contributes to an accumulative collection of Rs 248.60 crore within six days in the domestic market. On October 24, ‘Leo‘ achieved an impressive occupancy rate of 65.79 percent.
‘Leo‘ marks the second collaboration between the renowned Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, following their earlier project, ‘Master.’ The screenplay for this film has been meticulously crafted by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar, and Deeraj Vaidy. This action-packed entertainment spectacle boasts an ensemble cast, featuring the likes of Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy, and Gautham Menon in pivotal roles. Additionally, Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, and several other talents grace the screen in supporting roles.
Under the banner of Seven Screen Studio, ‘Leo‘ has been brought to life with a musical score composed by the gifted Anirudh Ravichander.
