Rajinikanth's new Lal Salaam poster out, film directed by

Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the much-anticipated Lal Salaam is set to make its theatrical debut next year. The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles, with Rajinikanth making an extended cameo appearance.

After completing filming in July, Rajinikanth’s presence in the movie has heightened the excitement among fans. The film’s release date was officially disclosed through a new poster unveiled by the makers on Sunday. Lal Salaam is scheduled to hit the big screens during the festive season of Pongal in January 2024. Alongside Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, the film also features a cameo by cricket legend Kapil Dev.

The poster, adorned in a vibrant red color palette, showcases Rajinikanth, last seen in the blockbuster Jailer, standing beside a vintage car near a cricket field. The makers, while withholding the exact release date, announced on Twitter, “Lal Salaam to hit screens on Pongal 2024.” Fans took to social media to express their anticipation, with one tweeting, “Will wait eagerly for this movie,” and another stating, “Only a few months to go now for another Rajinikanth blockbuster.

Lal Salaam, a cinematic creation by Lyca Productions and introduced by A Subaskaran, is set to hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film, centered around the themes of friendship and cricket, features the iconic Rajinikanth in the role of Moideen Bhai. Adding to the star-studded cast, former cricketer Kapil Dev will make a special appearance as himself.

The musical genius AR Rahman is orchestrating the enchanting tunes and background score, marking his first collaboration with Aishwarya, Vishnu, and Vikranth in this much-anticipated project.
