Mahira Khan, the acclaimed Pakistani actress famed for her roles in ‘Raees’ and ‘Humsafar’, has entered matrimony for the second time. She celebrated a beautiful wedding ceremony with businessman Salim Karim on October 1.
The intimate wedding took place at Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Mahira Khan, who was previously married to Ali Askari in 2007 and later parted ways in 2015, has now embarked on a new journey with Salim Karim. Together, Mahira and Ali have a 13-year-old son named Azlan.
Images and videos capturing the essence of Mahira’s enchanting wedding with Salim surfaced online, shared by her manager Anushay and photographer Izzah Shaheen Malik. In a touching moment captured on video, Mahira walks down the aisle towards Salim, who becomes emotional and wipes away tears. Salim lovingly lifts her veil, kisses her forehead, and shares a heartfelt hug. Mahira looked stunning in a pastel lehenga with a veil, while Salim was dashing in a black sherwani and a blue turban. The outdoor ceremony took place in Murree, Pakistan.
On the professional front, Mahira Khan has made a mark in the film industry with notable works such as ‘Raees’, ‘Verna’, and ‘7 Din Mohabbat’. Her popular series ‘Humsafar’ alongside Fawad Khan has garnered widespread acclaim. Her recent cinematic endeavor, ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, has been well-received. Mahira’s upcoming project includes the Netflix series ‘Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo’, where she will be sharing the screen with Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed.
